“Come, everyone! Clap your hands! Shout to God with joyful praise!” -Psalm 47:1
Beloved O Ministries Inc. Family,
JOY is REJOICING in the LORD for everything. Brother Nehemiah said…” THE JOY OF THE LORD IS MY STRENGTH.”(Nehemiah 9:10). Holy JOY is keeping your focus on the unlimited ability of GOD through JESUS, the promised Messiah, during this Advent Blessing season. Truly, GOD is the joyful JOY of our strength. Today is the third Advent Sunday, and it is called by many Joyful Sundays.
However, if I had permission to add to the copyright of Joyful Sunday, I would add this “Joyful Sunday starts Joyful Week.” As you enter this advent week, seek and except the JOY of the LORD. CHRIST-mas is drawing nearer, so I encourage you to joyfully look forward to continuing the celebration of JESUS’ birth joyfully. It is the Blessed promised event that was fulfilled with great joy when the Savior was born. Just as the Israelites waited for the first Advent in joyful expectation is how we should wait too. GOD gave them the strength to stand in their prayer tower and rejoice while they waited. (Isaiah 12:6).
GOD gave Prophetess Anna Joyful rejoicing joy after she waited when she held the promised Messiah. (Luke 2:36-38). GOD gave the wise men JOY when they heard the Good News and finally saw Jesus. ( Matthew 2:1-12) And GOD is willing to give us that same JOY of expectation if we BELIEVE. (1 Peter 1:3-9.)
Remember:
There was a JOYFUL birth announcement for JESUS’ birth. It was GOD who gave the angels a message filled with JOY to the world then and now.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank you for Your joy being our Holy strength. May our joyful joy week be filled with merriments from your Holy presence and the word. -Amen, in JESUS' name.
