SUBJECT: “HAPPY FATHER’S DAY TO OUR GREAT GOD.”

One God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all. -Ephesians 4:6 NIV

VACATION SEASON WITH GOD

This Father's Day, as we honor our earthly fathers, let us honor GOD, the FATHER who created all His dear children. GOD created us to Praise and Worship Him foremost. He created us to know Him, love Him, serve Him, and be happy with Him being our Heavenly Father. When we idolize GOD, it creates an intimate relationship with God, who wants us to call Him Abba Father. GOD is known for and revered for being our UNCONDITIONAL LOVE and AGAPE LOVE Father.

Truly our great Father in Heaven is the great Father of the universe. Today we celebrate Father’s Day, and the definition of father has expanded in these modern times. There is not just a definition for biological fathers, but there are step-fathers, adoptive fathers, grandfathers, godfathers, spiritual fathers, surrogate fathers, and anyone else who mentors you or has influenced and shaped one's life in a positive and spiritual way. Good father mimics their Heavenly Father. They choose to sacrifice their own needs and priorities to fulfill their responsibilities to their children with grace, patience, understanding, and love. This we tell GOD to thank you for.

Today is our opportunity to show our appreciation for all dads. Giving them gifts, giving them a hug, writing them a note, preparing a meal, or taking them out to a restaurant are good gestures. But let us not forget to lift them in our prayers.

Remember:

Let us pray to GOD, the Father of all, to Bless our earthly fathers with good health and protection against all evil.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly FATHER,

Thank you for being the world’s Holy Heavenly Father over all the people in the universe.

May we see your hand first as we celebrate our earthly fathers. -Amen, in JESUS' Matchless name.
