"Even now, declares the Lord, return to me with all your heart,with fasting and weeping and mourning." Joel 2:12.
Choosing the first of the year to hibernate with GOD sets the whole year into motion for balance and future Blessings. Spiritual hibernation is coming in alignment and agreement with Matthew 6:33. "But seek ye first the kingdom of God and his righteousness; all these things shall be added unto you." Putting GOD first at the first of the New year helps guide you to reconnect to Him.
The first of the year is a very sensitive time. And I believe GOD refreshes our hearts, minds, and souls more during his time. And this is why O Ministries Inc. chooses to dedicate 31 days of Solemn Assembly unto the LORD from January 6-February 5. 2023. So far, it has been AMAZING. GOD has been faithful to aligning our will with His Will, guiding and redirecting us when needed. The journey is a sacrifice but spiritually fulfilling. So, the question is, how do you RETURN to GOD?
Number one, OPEN your heart and be HONEST with GOD. Confess every thought, every desire, every motive, and every sin to yourself and GOD. Confession sets the stage for deliverance. Second, REPENT. Confession is no good without repenting of your sins. We all need to FORGIVE and APOLOGIZE to others before GOD forgives us. GET IN THE WORD AND PRAY. Spend some intentional daily time with GOD. Seeking GOD first is obedience unto Him. Third, solicit sincere spiritual support.
Join a group like O Ministries Inc., Whose mission is to RETURN to GOD sincerely, His way. There is spiritual strength and spiritual power from GOD in numbers. Fourth, be open to asking for HELP. It's okay not to have all the answers. That's why GOD sends us to be HELPERS, ONE TO ANOTHER. Hebrews 6:10. Last, be GRATEFUL. Thank GOD for a second chance at the first of the year to get it RIGHT His way. GOD is waiting on you to join a Sacrificial Solemn Assembly team.

Thank you, FATHER, for refreshing times at the first of the year. May all who chose to spiritually hibernate and spend time in your presence be Blessed according to your will for 2023. -In JESUS's Name, Amen.
