“On the day of Pentecost all the believers were meeting together in one place. Suddenly, there was a sound from heaven like the roaring of a mighty windstorm, and it filled the house where they were sitting. Then, what looked like flames or tongues of fire appeared and settled on each of them. And everyone present was filled with the Holy Spirit and began speaking in other languages, as the Holy Spirit gave them this ability.” Acts 2:1-4 NLT
Acts chapter 2 instructs the Body of Christ on the essentiality of having GOD’S POWER to effectively Evangelize to the world. The Christian Church was born out of the great Pentecost experience in the upper room. It was an impactful experience and event that has been misunderstood since the day of its inception. Some folks say Pentecost is for “holy rollers,” those people displaying emotional extremism. Then, other folks say Pentecost is a cultist denomination or movement. And last, there are those who have no idea at all what the season or day of Pentecost was all about.

For those who do not have a knowledgeable position about Pentecost, check out my brief abbreviation about it. Traditionally, in the Christian community, Pentecost marks the end of the 50 days after Easter.
Acts 2: 1-4 describes the big-bang event in detail. It marked the primary reason Pentecost is essential. And it proved that its power produced bold and courageous men and women to evangelize. PENTECOST was the “Birth Day” of the Christian Church. It was a turning point for the disciples who followed JESUS and the other believers in that upper room.
PENTECOST was the BIRTHING room for the “Holy Trinity,” Which is the belief of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit; and PENTECOST was JESUS keeping His word In Matthew 28:20, “I will be with you always, even until the end of the age.”
Remember
PENTECOST marks the fulfillment of JESUS’ promise.

Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank you for being a record-keeping promise keeper. Your promises are still being celebrated and experienced among your dedicated followers. Thank you for the Holy Trinity’s power enabling all Christians to go and win souls and make disciples. -Amen in JESUS’ name.
