SUBJECT: “CELEBRATING WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH-PART II.”

“Charm is deceptive and beauty fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised."

Proverbs 31:30

Women’s History Month

Celebrating Women’s History Month is remembering outstanding women of GOD too. Often we forget that women in the Bible made history before women’s liberation was heard of. Bible women were bold, courageous, and strong, women who surpassed all societal expectations and limitations during their times. Despite how the men dominated women, they still rose to the top and made unforgettable history.

Their Faith-filled history is still read about and used as a powerful anchor in Christian Women's lives today. Out of all their challenges, they rose and soared, making Biblical women history. They had their own spheres of influence despite male dominance and unequal laws of discrimination. Bible Women, God-fearing women used their spiritual anointing to be respected during their times to soar. Even though they suffered for just being women, without being acknowledged for their God-given rights as married women because martial laws made it possible for men to dominate while denying women the to achieve and be successful. It was very hard for women.

A lot of progress has been in the women’s movement; however, there is still much more equal rights work to do. As the work continues, let us raise our spiritual banners in prayer for equality against inequality for ALL women choosing to make a difference in the world. There are many ways to support women in making a difference. Supporting women’s non-Profits is a major way to support women. I invite you to support O Ministries Inc, which is a ministry that naturally and spiritually supports women. Every donation that's donated helps support the heartfelt efforts of our mission to be “Change Agents” for women.

But they still SOARED with the help of GOD. Mary, Eve, Sarah, Miriam, Esther, Ruth, Naomi, Deborah, and Mary Magdalene were a few that made history. But there were other God-fearing women who did phenomenal things. However, for some reason, not much was recorded about them in the Bible. They, too, were bold and strong, very capable women who moved and performed jobs without being asked. They feared GOD and lived faithfully.

These women were:

  • Shiphrah and Puah.(Exodus1:17-20)

  • Tamar(Genesis 38:1-30)

  • Rahab(Joshua 2)

  • Jehoshabeath(2 Kings 11:2-3)

  • Huldah(2 kings 22:14)

  • Lydia(Acts 16:14-15)

  • Priscilla(Romans 16:3-4)

  • Phoebe (Romans 16:1-2)

Remember:

There are many strong women characters in the Bible who depended on our great Jehovah GOD. He was their social media platform at large. Those “History-making Women” had to lie and broke tradition to do what they had to do to help others. Even though Biblical women practically had no rights and suffered immensely, and were considered lower than men, they still made “HISTORY FOR WOMEN.”

Prayer:

Thank you for using women in the Bible to teach us how to trust you in everything we do. Thank you for allowing women to be some remnants in the Bible. -In JESUS's Name, Amen.
