SUBJECT: “CELEBRATING WOMEN’S HISTORY MONTH.”

“Charm is deceptive and beauty fleeting, but a woman who fears the Lord is to be praised." Proverbs 31:30

Women’s History Month

The month of March is Women’s History Month. It began as a local celebration in Santa Rosa, California. The Education Task Force of the Sonoma County (California) Commission on the Status of Women planned and executed a “Women’s History Week” celebration in 1978. (woman’s history.org.)

For 45 years, we have been celebrating Women’s History. It started off being a week, but lobbying turned it into a month-long celebration. O Ministries Inc will celebrate women and their accomplishments this month. The theme of Women’s History Month 2023 is “Celebrating Women Who Tell Our Stories,” a theme that honors women in every community who have devoted their lives and talents to producing art and news, pursuing truth, and reflecting society year after year.

A lot of progress has been in the women’s movement; however, there is still much more equal rights work to do. As the work continues, let us raise our spiritual banners in prayer for equality against inequality for ALL women choosing to make a difference in the world. There are many ways to support women in making a difference. Supporting women’s non-Profits is a major way to support women. I invite you to support O Ministries Inc, which is a ministry that naturally and spiritually supports women. Every donation that's donated helps support the heartfelt efforts of our mission to be “Change Agents” for women.

Remember:

Strong women in the LORD are forces to be reckoned with.

Prayer:

Thank you for creating women equal to men. May the men in the world spiritually see that you made women be professional helpmeets with a voice of reason, too?-In JESUS's Name, Amen.

O. M. Nugget:

“GOD CREATED WOMEN TO BE THE CHARMS OF LOVE TO THE WORLD.”

Expository Study:

  • Proverbs 31:16-17

  • 1 Corinthians 15:10

Food For Thought:

“No matter what you look like or what worldly riches you have, a woman's commitment to the Lord is what truly matters in life.” -Woman’s Day
