THANKFUL...GRATEFUL...& TRULY BLESSED

7 DAY DEVOTIONAL JOURNEY

Day 4:

”PAST EXPERIENCES VERSES NEW BEGINNINGS”

”Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!” Isaiah 43:18-19a

Isaiah said the LORD said...

”FORGET the FORMER things.”Forgetting the past is not easy especially when you have been hurt and it seems like restoration is bleak. Could it be you need to forgive someone? Or ask someone to forgive you? Or just concluding your GRATITUDE is weak.

Yes, indeed it would be great if the PAST didn't leave pain and agony that seemed irrevocable. But, thanks be to GOD there is HOPE for every situation that seems hopeless. Maybe the simplest and most effective way to spiritually turn "lemons into lemonade” is to turn your focus to sincere GRATITUDE.

Gratitude is HEALING. IF, you have been wombed and it seems beyond repair there is HOPE IN THE WORK JESUS DID ON THE CROSS. The healing power of God’s restoration through the name of JESUS is available now for you.

We know...The world is currently struggling under a deadly pandemic; COVID-19. It appears to be the main topic of discussion. With the exception of the USA. Our President is attempting to REWRITE the CONSTITUTION for his benefit. We are definitely in a mental crisis. HOWEVER, ”JESUS is the answer...Hold on HE is on the way!”

Isaiah also said the LORD said...

”DO NOT DWELL ON THE PAST.”

Truly, GOD does not want you to let the past stop you from being greater and doing greater in His therapeutic Love. Letting go of the past is making room for the last thing Isaiah said the LORD said He was doing. However, you must let go and let GOD do...”A NEW THING.” Start the journey of letting go now. Don't wait until later start now. How? By being GRATEFUL. I F, you are enjoying reading this post you are blessed because healing from the past is beginning now for NEW BEGINNINGS.

The Challenge:

Instead of wondering IF change is coming. Just cast it all in the hands of GOD. Read Isaiah 49:16 there is a hidden nugget just for you.

Call To Action:

  1. Grab your pen, Gratitude journal, and cell phone.

  2. Write a long or short letter to GOD thanking Him for past experiences that you didn't realize that was and is making you a BETTER YOU.

  3. Next, call someone and ask them to forgive you or let them know you forgive them.

“Cultivate the habit of being grateful for every good thing that comes to you, and to give thanks continuously. And because all things have contributed to your advancement, you should include all things in your gratitude.” -Ralph Waldo Emerson
