SPRINGING FORTH
It's TIME to transition again. Ready or not. It's TIME...The season of SPRING is forcing its way through. The beginning of the Spring season comes with lots of uncertainty. One day it can be warm, and the next day it's cold. We can be like that too, which is very dangerous for the body of CHRIST. This is the danger.
“I know your deeds, that you are neither cold nor hot. I wish you were either one or the other! So, because you are lukewarm—neither hot nor cold—I am about to spit you out of my mouth. You say, ‘I am rich; I have acquired wealth and do not need a thing. But you do not realize that you are wretched, pitiful, poor, blind, and naked. Revelation 3:16-17.
Clearly, GOD is warning us to take heed, be alert, pay attention to the uncertainty and blind spots that seasons can have, and apply them to our relationship with Him. In other words, we should carefully investigate our spiritual personality and our relationship with GOD to weed out the old negative and welcome the new positive. That's what “SPRING SEASON” does. SPRING says what GOD can do in an instance with His sin-filled world.
SPRING Beautifies what Winter destroyed. Spring is the season of NEW beginnings. Fresh buds bloom, animals awaken, and the earth seems to come to life again. Spring is the TIME we refresh our attitudes to receive the NEW THING that GOD is willing to burst forth in your life. As children playing games, we would too say...On your mark, get ready, get set, GO! Spring says go forth with an expectant attitude knowing that our great GOD is SPRINGING FORTH NEW BLESSINGS for you.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly Father,
Thank you for providing new ways and new things after the winter destruction. May we look to you and rejoice in thankfulness for your compassion and mercy.
