The season of HOLY PENTECOST is coming soon. It always occurs seven weeks after Easter Resurrection Sunday. This is our NEXT Holy Season. This is not a certain religious denomination celebration; it is for Christian Believers.
The New Testament testifies that Holy Pentecost was the promised special occasion that JESUS promised was coming after he ascended back to Heaven. JESUS said, ”And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven." Luke 24:49 NLT
That day came to fruition just as JESUS said. It was the day the living Holy Spirit came and set upon the Apostles and other followers of JESUS CHRIST. It happened precisely 50 days after Easter Resurrection with about 120 witnesses. After that miraculous scene, Holy Pentecost is recognized as the day that the Christian church was established.
Holy Pentecost season is a time of “waiting.” JESUS’ followers went up to the upper room and obeyed what He commanded them to do. They just waited in faithful expectation, not knowing how, when, what day, or what time; they just waited. And their faithful obedience granted them the gift of the promised Holy Spirit.
Remember:
The same super-powerful Holy Spirit is available for us today. Holy Pentecost season 2023 is the sacred season of waiting for the Holy Spirit to launch on you in cloven tongues, speaking different languages. It is also a re-anointing with refreshing new spiritual springs of power to “GO” and make disciples.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER,
We tell you, thank you for being the promise keeper of the first church. May that same promise of the Holy Spirit come to dwell among us this sacred season. Help us to walk in expectation for a Holy visitation to come and breathe new refreshed life in us.-Amen, in JESUS’ Matchless name.
