"21 DAYS"

FERVENT PRAYER AND FASTING

"I truly wonder what would happen IF the Body Of Christ worldwide would FERVENTLY fast and pray for 21 straight days?" Every new year some people and some churches start by doing the Daniel Fast. I have observed in times past many of the participants struggle very hard during the Daniel Fast. Could they not be spiritually and mentally prepared, or could they be engaging in the monkey see monkey do fast without personal focus or purpose? Either way, it's an excruciating struggle to sacrificially fast with or without a purpose.

The Daniel Fast is what “Daniel” vowed to do due to his exile situation. Daniel wasn't commanded to fast. His main reason he chose to fast was to prove the POWER and AUTHORITY of GOD in a pagan place and respect his relationship with the LORD. Daniel never complained about his SACRIFICIAL choice unto the LORD. He just DID IT through prayer.

Also, Daniel chose something very difficult. He fasted from sweets and meats. Daniel realized a true GOD seeking fast has to be a SACRIFICE. And, JESUS did too. He miraculously fasted from EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. Daniel and JESUS fast were personal and different, but they both had the same supernatural breakthroughs, with JESUS’ being the greatest one. PERHAPS can sometimes be TIMES THREE. Perhaps, YOU should go on a twenty-one day fast.

Perhaps, YOU should choose what you will personally sacrifice for 21 days to empower you to HEAR GOD’s voice for you in 2021.

Perhaps, YOU JUST DO IT. Make a self-conscious decision to truly give something difficult up for 21 days in return to see the powerful hand of GOD at work in your life.

FYI...January 11-31, 2021 are the last 21 days of this new year's first month!

Dear Heavenly FATHER,

Thank you for being our ever-present help. Please help us to deny mortal bodies to develop a closer relationship with you. May we discover that if JESUS sacrificed, so must we. Amen in JESUS name.
