Beloved O.M.Family,
The late blind and great Fanny Crosby wrote many powerful inspirational hymns. The soul stirring hymn Blessed Assurance is credited to her. And, we all know that the lyrics to that hymn are beautiful assurances of GOD’s love...The HOLY SPIRIT touched my mental faculties as I awaken this morning with a gentle confirmation “BLESSED ASSURANCE...” It wasn’t the words of the hymn the Holy Spirit was speaking to me. It was “Blessed Assurance “ in the word of GOD. After finishing a heavy three week Ministry assignment.
My heart was bleeding to know Did I please GOD? Remember, each ministry assignment when it is finished has to have a stamp of approval from GOD on it. People, can tell you many things in the midst of performing a ministry task. But, only what GOD says is the measuring rod of right or wrong. I thrive to please GOD and not man.(Proverbs 16:7) GOD has spoken and approved HIS Blessed Assurance of “WELL DONE...” Who can speak behind GOD? So, as I walk away from this finished assignment I am in total confidence that almighty GOD approved of the work I did for HIS glory and my good.
Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank you for equipping your dear children with all they need to your will. May we always look to you for everything we need to please you while doing your will. In JESUS name amen.
