Week 4: DRAWN INTO INTIMACY. (Days 19–25)
“Now pay attention; I am standing at the door and knocking. If any of you hear My voice and open the door, then I will come in to visit with you and to share a meal at your table, and you will be with Me.” Revelation 3:20

There is a quiet invitation that GOD extends to His people. It’s not to perform, not to impress, but to come closer to GOD. We live in a society that celebrates noise, speed, and constant output, and intimacy with GOD often feels very unfamiliar. But throughout Scripture, we see that GOD has always desired for His people to come nearer to Him. Drawn into deeper Intimacy is not a maybe, it is a mandatory command. It’s called deeper. Prayer is not about eloquence.
It is about a heart full of true reverence unto GOD in JESUS name. Deeper Prayer is sacred words that often give way to stillness, where self-effort fades and welcoming His presence becomes all you desire. When Prayer is respected as Holy communion rather than an obligation, a Prophetic shift happens. That shift causes us to no longer speak to GOD but to be in Him with Him.
Being drawn into intimacy with GOD does not happen in a rush. But in stillness, in consistency, and in desire to be close to GOD. Communing with GOD in Prayer is more than a ritual. It is a remembrance of all that JESUS sacrificed for our salvation. It reminds us that intimacy with GOD was made possible through JESUS’ sacrifice.
Let us let this resurrection time renew our faith in JESUS.
Remember:
Worship, in its truest form, is not confined to songs or settings. It is a sincere posture of the heart. It is surrender. It is saying, “FATHER, You are worthy,” even when my emotions waver. True intimacy and worship draw us into alignment with GOD, softening our resistance to partnering with the Holy Spirit and making space for GOD to manifest and speak.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank You for the sacred Spirit that draws us closer to You. May we stay our stand in the still place of intimate rest and comfort when we commune with You in Prayer.- In Your Matchless Name, Jesus, Amen.

“INTIMACY WITH GOD PRODUCES SPIRITUAL SALT FOR THE EARTH.”
Expository Study:
Week 4: DRAWN INTO INTIMACY (Days 19–25)
Prophetic Focus: Draw, Abide, Remain
Day 19: The Invitation to Come Close
Scripture: James 4:8: “Draw near to God, and He will draw near to you.”
Focus: God initiates intimacy, but we must respond.
Reflection: What distractions or habits are keeping you from drawing near?
Prayer: Ask God to awaken a desire for His presence above all else.
Day 20: Honesty in Prayer
Scripture: Psalm 62:8: “Pour out your heart before Him.”
Focus: God welcomes your real thoughts and emotions.
Reflection: Are your prayers filtered or fully honest?
Prayer: Speak openly to God about what you’re truly feeling.
Day 21: Worship as Surrender
Scripture: Romans 12:1: “Offer your bodies as a living sacrifice…this is your true worship.”
Focus: Worship is more than singing; it’s surrendering your life.
Reflection: What areas of your life are you holding back from God?
Prayer: Surrender control and invite God into those areas.
Day 22: Listening in Stillness
Scripture: Psalm 46:10: “Be still, and know that I am God.”
Focus: Intimacy requires listening, not just speaking.
Reflection: When was the last time you sat in silence before God?
Prayer: Ask God to quiet your mind and help you hear Him.
Day 23: Communion and Remembrance
Scripture: Luke 22:19: “Do this in remembrance of Me.”
Focus: Communion deepens awareness of God’s love and sacrifice.
Reflection: Do you approach communion as a routine or a relationship?
Prayer: Thank Jesus for His sacrifice and for what it means to you personally.
Day 24: Living in Ongoing Intimacy
Scripture: 1 Thessalonians 5:17: “Pray without ceasing.”
Focus: Intimacy is not limited to a moment; it becomes a lifestyle.
Reflection: How can you stay aware of God throughout your day?
Prayer: Invite God into your daily routines and decisions.
Day 25: Abiding in His Presence
Scripture: John 15:4: “Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit by itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.”
Focus: Intimacy grows through abiding, not striving.
Reflection: Abiding means remaining, not visiting God for moments, but living from His presence. How can you stay connected to Him today, not just in prayer time, but in every moment?
Prayer: Lord, teach me to abide, to remain in You when life is busy, uncertain, or quiet.

“The most important part of prayer is not the result it produces, but the intimacy it creates.” -Kingsley Opuwari Manuel
