WITCHCRAFT IN OUR SCHOOLS IS MORE REAL THAN WE HAVE CHOSEN TO ACKNOWLEDGE OR GIVE CREDIT TO.
Recently, I saw a back-to-school reel on Instagram where a teacher was holding a wooden bowl with something burning in it. She had a long feather-like object in her hand. She was telling the children to come to her so she could “smudge” them, then she fanned the smoke in their faces and told them to go and have a good day. WITCHCRAFT IN PLAIN SIGHT. This is not a statement intended to create fear, suspicion, or panic. But, it is a call for spiritual awareness, discernment, and fervent Prayer.
We live in a world where our children are being exposed to an increasing number of demonic influences some visible and some hidden.
As parents, educators, administrators, spiritual leaders, and Prayer Warrior Intercessors we cannot afford to be spiritually asleep or dismissive about the influences that sneak in to demonically shape the minds, identities, values, and decisions of our children.
ATTENTION! “WHAT WE FAIL TO RECOGNIZE…MAY FAIL TO CONFRONT AND INTERCEDE IN PRAYER.” The Word of GOD repeatedly calls for the Prayer Warriors to be alert, discerning, sober and watchful. Our responsibility is not to accuse individuals or label every difficult situation as witchcraft. But our responsibility is to discern carefully, Pray fervently for all the children wisely and keep them anchored in the Word of GOD.
As our children return to the school campus we must be aware that we are not simply sending them back to school with backpacks, books, technology, and school supplies.
But we are sending them into an environment that requires supernatural spiritual covering. In this devotional I want you to understand that GOD is calling for us to PRAY STRATEGICALLY FOR THE CHILDREN.
As our children return to school, we must recognize that education is more than academics. Every environment has influences, messages, values, and voices competing for the attention of our children. This is why the Word of GOD warns us that there is a spiritual dimension to the battles children face. However, GOD has not called His Prayer Warrior Intercessors to walk in fear or suspicion but to walk in Spiritual Discernment.
Witchcraft and occult practices are specifically addressed in Scripture. Deuteronomy 18:10-12 warns GOD’S people against divination, sorcery, witchcraft, and consulting spiritual powers outside of GOD. These warnings remind us that not every spiritual-looking practice is from GOD.
Remember:
Our responsibility as parents, educators, Prayer intercessors, and Spiritual leaders is not to become fearful but WATCHFUL.
We must teach our children…They don’t have to participate in everything you are exposed to…They don’t have to accept every spiritual message you hear…They can and should reject what contradicts GOD’S Word. And most importantly…Teach the children they belong to GOD.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER ,
Thank You for exposing witchcraft in the schools. And now we place our children, students, teachers, administrators, and schools into Your hands. Please give our children wisdom beyond their years and discernment to recognize what is contrary to Your Word. Please guard their minds, hearts, eyes, ears, friendships, and decisions. Give parents wisdom to know how to guide their children and courage to have difficult conversations when necessary. In JESUS’ name amen.
