SUBJECT: “5TH SUNDAY GRACE BLESSINGS…”

“But he gives more grace. Therefore, it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”James 4:6. ESV

OMI | God Loves A Cheerful Giver

In some Pentecostal Churches, the 5th Sunday is Women’s Day, and they all wear white. I don’t remember a definitive reason why the 5th Sunday was the Women’s Day and wear white. But what I have learned is that 5 is GOD’S divine Holy number of GRACE! His unearned, undeserved favor toward humanity. And we live in a deprived dispensation that needs the divine Grace of GOD. The 5th Sunday is a Grace Sunday that brings multiple divine reminders that can overflow in your soul. Just as the fifth is an “extra” in the month, Grace is GOD’S extra measure of love and mercy beyond what we could earn or deserve. Hallelujah!

The 5th Sunday invites us to pause, reflect, and celebrate Divine Grace

  • Grace that saves us. (Ephesians 2:8–9)

  • Grace that sustains us in weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9)

  • Grace that teaches us to live godly lives. (Titus 2:11–12)

  • Grace that flows through us to others. (Colossians 3:13)

Just as a month sometimes surprises us with an extra Sunday, GOD surprises us with extraordinary Grace, Grace upon Grace. (John 1:16).

Remember:

Every 5th Sunday can be a “More Grace Sunday” for you. A time to rest in the super abundance of GOD’S favor and to extend that same “More Grace” to those around us.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly FATHER,

Thank You for the unending gift of Your Holy Grace.
Help us to truly recognize that the 5th Sunday is a time to rest in Your mercy that always goes beyond measure.
Teach us to rest in Your Holy Grace, how to walk in Your Holy Grace, and share Your Holy Grace freely. -Amen, in JESUS' Matchless name.
