The Church is and has always been the people’s back-to-school Community. It is the community’s Haven. The Church is supposed to be the main open door in the local community. It is the Spiritual hospital where the community comes for spiritual, emotional, and physical needs. GOD has mandated the Church to be the 1st responders in the community. He expects the Church to be the main COMMUNITY HUB.

The place where families feel they belong through caring, kindness, love, provision, and support. The Church is called to be the front runners offering the community hope for a new school year that is filled with new, fresh opportunities. GOD’s Church should be intentional about strongly encouraging its community family during the back-to-school season. A kind word, a helping hand, or a simple prayer can make all the difference. This is a time to make a long-lasting impact on the families.

A few impactful things any Church can do are have a family back-to-school Altar Call. Praying for the dads, moms, children, educators, and their school-wide administration can anchor the new back-to-school year. Lastly, the Church can exhibit caring love by forming a volunteer committee to assist the mentally and physically challenged, single parents, and widowed parents.

Remember:

It’s not the school board or the day care center that GOD expects to Spiritually Shepherd His dear children. But GOD expects the organized Body of Christ, known as the Church in the Community, to be the Refuge House for back-to-school families.

Prayer:

Dear Heavenly FATHER,

Thank you for mandating the church to be a refuge house for the community at large, back-to-school encounter. We thank you for it all -Amen, in JESUS' Matchless name.
