This born and raised Arkansan, Texas resident residing In Salt Lake City, Utah, metroplex is our outstanding Black History Month Spotlight Person. There are “G.O.A.T.s” on the basketball court and the football field, but what about the “FEMALE G.O.A.T.s” who are setting America and their communities upside down? Our Black History heroin is a new fearless emerging pioneer figure who deserves to be celebrated. She is a strong, God-fearing woman who pushes for equal justice by any means necessary for all of G.O.D.’s people with an open mindset. She is one of America’s next upcoming top Black Women making American History and Black History in a predominantly Caucasian city and state. Carolyn Hayden-Garner is a black woman who is beautiful inside and out. This fast-growing African American legend was born and raised in Helena, Arkansas. She has a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Grambling State University and an MBA from Dallas Baptist University. She is a devoted wife, a loving mother of three, and a proud grandmother of two adorable boys and a beloved sister-friend to all within her neighboring reach.


Carolyn Hayden-Garner is the Founder and CEO of the prestigious faith-based organizations “Mothers Shut In” (MSI) and “African American Grandmothers Gathering” (AAGG). Carolyn founded these organizations to foster a community of women from diverse backgrounds that have come together, collectively, to change the lives of women and their children, grandchildren, and generations to come, in a way that they are unable to do so within their means. We are empowering mothers to effect change. (MSI, 2022)
