“Blow the trumpet in Zion, Consecrate a fast, Call a sacred assembly” -Joel 2:15. NKJV

Beloved, people of GOD, we are living in an hour where GOD is thundering His voice. GOD is issuing a clarion call for intentional Prayer, Praise, and Worship to exude from His dear children by sacrificing intentional time with Him. There is a strong distinction between a Daniel Fast and a Sacred Solemn Assembly. The misunderstanding of not knowing the difference between the two can cause a serious delay in spiritual growth. The Daniel Fast was a spiritual conviction that led to a spirit-led rebuttal by Daniel.
He purposed in his heart and made a risky decision to fast from certain foods so that he and his friends could remain Holy in an Unholy environment. Daniel’s love and allegiance unto GOD said…”Lord, WE are setting ourselves apart so that WE can remain pure according to our Jewish laws unto you. Daniel’s choice honored GOD and GOD honored Daniel. GOD pulled Daniel and his friends to the front of the line looking better, sounding better, and more alert than all the other hostages. GOD spiritually and physically refined them. All of this came from honoring GOD based upon a religious law. So, I hear you saying what the Power of a Sacred Solemn Assembly? DUNAMIS POWER.
A Sacred Solemn Assembly has miraculous Holy Spirit Power that enables the participants to spiritually soar supernaturally. A Sacred Solemn Assembly is not just a fast. It is a divine summons from GOD. He will use the anointed voice of his leaders to announce, while trusting that His people will respond to the call. A Sacred Solemn Assembly is called in times of a crisis, a transition, for repentance, or a divine visitation has happened. It is a Spiritual call to repent collectively, to realign a people, city, or nation to appeal for divine mercy or intervention, and to mark a spiritual turning point. Prophetically speaking…A Sacred Solemn Assembly says, “Lord, we cannot move forward unless You intervene.”
Remember:
The Daniel Fast prepares the people, BUT a Sacred Solemn Assembly confronts the present moment.
