SUBJECT: “MAY YOUR NEW YEAR’S STRENGTH BE THE JOY OF THE LORD.”

Clap your hands, all you nations; shout to God with cries of joy. Psalm 47:1

The count down is over! 2022 is here. HAPPY NEW YEAR…

The new year is when most people make New Year’s resolutions without considering the natural or spiritual cost and outcome. The start of a new year is an opportunity to take inventory of things not being used. It's a time to re-evaluate goals. It's the best time to recalibrate your spiritual mind, body, and soul. And, it's the greatest time to take positive steps towards fortifying a JOYFUL relationship with GOD.

Here’s the good New Years' news GOD desires for His JOY to be your NEW YEAR’S STRENGTH. New spiritual perception requires spiritual strength to change. GOD’s JOY is the spiritual strength you need.

I suggest five things simplistic ways you can evolve into GOD’S JOY for 2022.

  • #1 Let GOD be first in “everything” you do in 2022.

    • Matthew 6:33 ESV.

  • #2 Do an honest Spiritual Joy Inventory of last year’s joy with the LORD.

    • Lamentations 3:40 ESV.

  • #3 Grade your joy. If your JOY is not where you desire for it to be stopped, recalibrate, and pray for your joy navigator to be activated.

    • 1 Corinthians 11:31 ESV.

  • #4 Make some spiritual JOY goals between you and GOD.

    • Psalm 37:4-5 ESV.

  • #5 Invite a partner to discover some GOD Joy with you. Accountability is life-changing.

    • Ecclesiastes 4:9. ESV

Remember:

GOD’S JOY can be your STRENGTH when you commit to desiring the JOY of the LORD being your anchor in everything you do.

Prayer:
