“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” Psalm 20:7 (ESV)

Sometimes GOD leads us down paths we don’t recognize, through seasons that feel uncertain, and into moments that challenge everything we thought we knew. Midnight fear is one of those paths of difficult times. Difficult times will come, but they do not last forever. So who do you lean on in your midnight? Just as you lean on friends during difficult times, in the same way we can lean on GOD to walk us through the fire. Because He is always with us, but what is trust? Trust in Scripture means to rely on, to be confident in, to place your full weight upon something or someone. Trust in GOD is not passive; it is an active, deliberate choice.
Trust means believing GOD is good when life doesn’t feel good. Trust means holding onto His promises when you can’t trace His hand. Trust means remembering that even when you don’t understand the plan, you can still trust the Planner. God has never asked us to understand everything! But He has asked us to trust Him in everything. When you don’t understand, trust. When you can’t see the way, trust. When the questions outnumber the answers, trust. Because God has never failed, and He won’t start with you.
How do we TRUST GOD wholly?
Surrender to GOD.
Have Confidence in GOD.
Rest in GOD’s Protection.
Believe GOD Is Working Even When You Can’t See It.
Take joy in knowing GOD is faithful in all circumstances.
Remember:
“Some trust in chariots and some in horses, but we trust in the name of the Lord our God.” -Amen in JESUS' name.
Prayer:
Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank you for your sweet, tender, and loving trust in your dear children.
I Pray we will remember that your trust is reliably safeguarded in your Holy word. In JESUS' matchless and holy name, Amen.
