SUBJECT: “BLESSINGS BLOCKERS…LORD SEARCH MY HEART.”
“Your wickedness has deprived you of these wonderful blessings.
"Your sin has robbed you of all these good things.”
~Jeremiah 5:25 NLT

When you hear GOD say, “BLESSING BLOCKERS,” it ought to make you pause, become more attentive, and respond with a sincere heart: “SPEAK, LORD, FOR YOUR SERVANT IS LISTENING!” That response says we are willing to examine our hearts, evaluate our spiritual priorities, and recognize those areas where change may be necessary. It also means we are willing to receive correction without condemnation and acknowledge what we may not have previously recognized.
Here is a question for your personal reflection:
Have you ever Prayed for something and wondered why nothing seemed to change?
Perhaps you were waiting for an answer, a breakthrough, a divine intervention, or a clearer sense of direction.
In those moments, a question may come to mind:
IS SOMETHING GETTING IN THE WAY?
And my answer is YES, SOMETIMES!
“Blessing Blockers” is a modern expression, but GOD'S WORD addresses attitudes, behaviors, and spiritual conditions that can hinder our Prayers, interfere with our obedience, and damage our fellowship with GOD.
There is a word I want to keep at the center of this message. It is EXAMINATION!
Instead of immediately looking for someone else to blame when those Blessing Blockers appear,
We can begin with a humble and sincere Prayer:
“LORD, SEARCH MY HEART. REVEAL WHAT NEEDS TO CHANGE IN ME. SHOW ME WHAT I HAVE OVERLOOKED, WHERE I NEED CORRECTION, AND WHAT I NEED TO RELEASE SO THAT I CAN WALK MORE FULLY IN OBEDIENCE TO YOU.”
We can ask GOD to reveal what needs to change without automatically deciding that every painful circumstance is our fault. We must also be careful to encourage others without accusing them of causing their own suffering. Sharing is caring because not every delay is a Blessing Blocker. Not every unanswered Prayer is the result of disobedience. Sometimes we must simply learn to wait, trust, and remain faithful while GOD works in ways we cannot see. As well as watching very carefully those little foxes that keep us from consecrating ourselves, having Prayer time, study and worship time with the LORD.
Remember. . . The deeper question is: “LORD, IS THERE ANYTHING IN ME THAT IS BLOCKING MY OBEDIENCE?” And when He reveals it, may Your response be:
SPEAK, LORD! I AM LISTENING, AND I AM WILLING TO OBEY! NOW.
~ Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank You for exposing the little foxes that are blocking our blessings.
Holy Spirit help GOD’s dear children examine their hearts honestly.
Show us any wrongdoing we have been excusing and overlooking.
Please help me face what needs to change and take responsibility for the choices we make. Give us wisdom to recognize and address with humility when we do not understand what’s blocking our blessings. In JESUS’ Holy Name. Amen.
