“Now all this took place to fulfill what was spoken by the Lord through the prophet: 23 See, the virgin will become pregnant and give birth to a son, and they will name him Immanuel, which is translated “God is with us.” MATTHEW 1:22-23.
Doing something different does mean “JUST DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT.”
Commemorating CHRIST-mas JESUS style is doing something completely different.
Observing the season of Advent is the perfect JESUS style way of doing something different. Advent is the triplet to Lent and Pentecost. It is a CHRISTIAN season of waiting and expectation. It begins on the fourth Sunday before Christmas day, and it is defined as: “The coming or arrival, especially of something extremely important.”
What is more important than celebrating the birth of our LORD and Saviour JESUS CHRIST in a different spiritual way. Just as spirit-filled sincere Christians should do. Advent is a helper to the Holy Spirit. The History of it draws one focus to the fact that it's all about JESUS CHRIST…THE PROPHECY OF HIS COMING…HIS MIRACULOUS BIRTH…And HIS PROMISED RETURN.
It's a time to educate yourself about the “real Christian meaning” of the season. Just in case you haven’t noticed there are many supposed to be Christians who don't know the real meaning of Christian observances that are celebrated. So many Christian get stuck on JESUS’ Birth story and forget to study the divine Prophecies of His arrival. They fit together like your hands in a pair of gloves. If you are one of them who doesn’t know the History of, or the real meaning of CHRIST-MAS, “DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT” celebrate ADVENT.

It is said, give Honor to whom Honor is due. Advent honors the Old Testament’s Prophecy and the New Testament’s Promise.

Dear Heavenly FATHER,
Thank you for perfectly aligning the Old Testament and the New Testament together to focus on JESUS is Advent. - Amen in JESUS name.
